Worship Services are every Sunday @ 11:00am with Nursery and Junior Church provided for infants to 9 years of age.
Sept. 19 - Sunday School begins @ 9:45am for children from 3 to 18 years old
Sept. 14 -Youth Group meets @ 7:00pm
Oct 3 - Adult Sunday School begins @ 9:45am. Topic: "The Me I Want To Be" by John Ortberg
Oct 6 - Mid-Week Adult Study meets @ 9:30am. Topic: "The Me I Want To Be" by John Ortberg
Oct 3 - Alpha begins @ 7pm. This is an informal teaching on the basics of the Christian Faith.
"The Message and The Music" gospel concerts will be advertised.

St. John's Sunday morning services are also recorded visually to DVD and are available by contacting the Church office at 659-2703, Barbara Ann Gillis at 659-2189, or you may borrow a copy from the library. Please allow at least a couple of days for recording completion.

| NOTICE BOARD
Sunday worship services are at 11:00am.
Anyone willing to help out with any aspect of the audio/visual ministry is asked to please meet on Tuesday, August 31st at 7:00 pm in the choir room with Darryl and Beth. There is no experience necessary. Training and cheat sheets will be provided.
Photographers from Universal Portrait Studios will be here Sept. 14 - 18th taking photos for our church directory. Book your free appointment by calling 1-888-769-7339 (ext 1 or 2)
Anyone willing to paint around the windows on the exterior of the church (where repairs were recently completed) is asked to contact Gus Banfill at 838-3663. The paint will be provided.
Volunteers are needed to help with the Junior Church Program. If you are available to help out 4 or 5 times during the year on a rotation basis (once every 8 - 12 weeks), please contact Arlene Edgecombe at 838-2610 or email her. Your help is greatly appreciated.
A Nursery sign up sheet is posted at the back of the Church. Two workers are required to watch over our small children each Sunday. Your help in this area is greatly appreciated. The worship service is available for viewing (live video feed) while helping out in the nursery.
Donations of flowers for Sunday morning worship services are always welcome. Please call the church office by noon on Wednesday if you are able to provide flowers for Sunday.

We have a wonderful library right next to the Choir Room behind the sanctuary. It has books and videos for adults and children that may be signed out at any time.
If you would like to sign out a book, simply take the card out of it, sign your name and the date and leave it on the librarian's table. Check it out the next time you are around!

FOOD CUPBOARD
St. John's has a food cupboard for those in need. If you or someone you know requires a helping hand, please call Barry and Nancy Beck at 838-4874 or the church office at 659-2703. All calls will be kept strictly confidential. Leave a message if there is no answer.
To Donate: A donation box for nonperishable food items is located at the back of the church for those wishing to donate to this ministry.
